Description
The Kenwood NXR 700 Repeater series meets a wide range of different standards both R&TTE and Safety standards that need to be met to ensure that they are able to cope with the stress that comes with the amount of use that will be undertaken by the Kenwood NXR 700 Repeater. The NXR-700 is a VHF digital repeater from Kenwood. With mixed analogue and digital operation, the NXR-700 completely supports NXDN Type-C trunking alongside 2nd Generation and NXDN Conventional. A 2-digit LED display is present on the front of the repeater, this alongside multiple LED status indicators, a 3W external speaker and volume control.
30 Channels are available per site, with the potential to have up to 48 site configurations whilst using a Multi-Site IP Network. 6 Programmable function keys allow for the customization of the NXR-700 to the users needs, alongside its capabilities to perform site roaming. Other features of the repeater include IP LAN/WAN connectivity, Ethernet Network Interface, Secure VPN Connections and also Auto Roaming. Standing at 44mm in height, 483mm in width and 331mm in depth the NXR-700 has a fairly compact design, whilst the controller interface on the NXR-700 is an external LTR. This repeater is also available for UHF frequencies with the NXR-800, NXR-800E3 and NXR-800E4.
